Fab Tudor Furniture on Etsy!

Last week (think it was Thursday) i was looking around on etsy and found some wonderful Tudor and Victorian furniture on etsy.

I loved the furniture and the finish, plus the fact they are dressed in beautiful materials.
But even though i love them, i still wanted to be able to buy them in their bare untreated state with no wood stainng or the material. So i contacted the seller to ask if this could be done.
Quite pleased the reply was yes, so i asked for two cupboard beds. Can not belive they were made in such a small amount of time and are already here. It's less than a week since i ordered them... amazing!
The seller is lovely and ever so helpful and really works with you as to what you want. All the furniture is 1:12 scale and also 1:24 scale.








This is what i ordered and can't wait to get them scratched up, aged and ever so ever so witchy, with some electrical lighting (a candle), maybe a little witches vanity shelf and lots of dirtry tatty bedding and drapes. Think i will hand paint some pictures on the material and somehow give each one a seperate theme.

Gifts from Rosanna and Eva and visit to kensington, plus a fab lady that turn all sorts!

On Friday and Saturday two wonderful packages arrived from Rosanna and Eva.

A few months ago i did a mini swap with Rosanna. Rosanna lovingly stitched a pumpkin Tea Cosy for me, but sadly it was lost in the post. But she was really sweet and stitched the second one which arrived on Friday.

On Saturday while i was at Kensington a parcel from Eva arrived. I bought some beautiful hand painted christmas postcards from Eva's etsy shop. In the parcel Eva also sent me a fab postcard gift especially for me, with my name on and a witch theme. Its wonderful and will frame make a nice frame for it.
On each letter of my name she has painted all the needs of a witch. I love the owl!

On Saturday i met up with Debie from Piskies and Poppets and went to the Kensington Dolls House Festival.
Before going i tripple checked i had everything, booked a taxi to take me to the station in advance (unlike me), made sure i had the list from Debbie of tiny treasures etc.
Silly old me forgot the most important thing of all... the ticket, which i only realised while waiting to get in the show. Didnt half make Debbie laugh!
Had a fabulous day, got to see Bob and Doreen, chatted to some lovely people and drooled at all the fab minis on sale.
I say i chatted, but not half as much as Debie. Debie loves to talk, lol... to everyone!
As usual both Debie and i love the same things and make a rush to get to them first.
Luckily we agree to share any finds so come away happy.
For some reason, lol, i give the impression i'm away with the fairies and lost all the time, but managed to use the tube with great success, even though parts of the line were closed. I have however forgot all the info i wanted to remember and mixed up all the business cards, so i cant refer back to them later. Wish i was more organised.
Saw Debbie onto her train about 7ish and got home in time for X Factor - Thank the Lord the two idiots have been booted out!

While at the show i met a lovely lady called Fiona Bateman that was taking photos of the show for CDHM. Quite a frightening task if you ask me!
Anyway, i tend not to look at wood turnings because i can't find what i want, especially for witch and wizard mini's. But this lady i have discovered turns the most wonderful items perfectly suited for witches, wizards and all lovers of Harry Potter miniatures.

Armadillo Bile, T'ac Ybbat and Ashwinder Eggs. The T'ac Ybbat means tabby cat and contains the cats teeth, fur and eyeballs.



Inisible Time Paranoia, Bats eyes, Preserved Frog Brain, Beetle Dust.


Phoenix Tears, Dragon Heart, Rat Tails and Forget-Me-Not.
The Forget-Me-Not contains little bones, two eyeballs and two fingers (severed and with the bone showing). How could you forget a person with these body parts in a jar, lol.


Black Bat Eyes, Nrocinu (Unicorn Horn), and Bobutubor Pus. Yuk!


Witchy Clear out - A mixture of half completed, slight rejects, abandoned work, unwanted items etc.

Slight Reject/Fault - Silver Birch Wizard Staff - Not totally happy with this Wizard staff so i will be selling him reduced. His face is not right because his nose is scewiff and there are tiny little faults in the joining of the clay on his face. Its just not sharp clean sculpting.

The site stocks a wonderful selection of miniatures i have not seen before.
In particular i liked the unpainted porcelain section and the good selection on offer.
This is what i bought.



The nesting mixing bowls can be painted using acrylics and this can also be done to all the other porcelain on the website.
The little cup the lady popped in was a gift.
I bought them only a few days ago, and can not believe how quick they got here. Plus they were packed to perfection.

I have to go to the school today for child progress appointments for Patrick and Niall.
The space is huge between both their appointments and won't be in all day to get my photos taken.

Gift From Eva. Thank you!

Excuse my hair on the book mark. Keeps falling out everywhere, lol!


Yesterday i received a beautiful gift from Eva at http://prunellascreation.blogspot.com/
I didn't have my glasses on at the time and couldn't find them anywhere. So i looked all over the house with frustration because i couldn't see the picture on the book mark. All i could see was orange and green and knew it just had to be pumpkins.
After lots of searching i then went to the bathroom and found my glasses with delight on the side of the bath. I have to wear them in the bath because i can't see what products to use otherwise... lol.
Anyway with glasses on i was so happy to see Eva's cute little pumpkins, the beads and the stitching, and not only that but Eva stitched my name too.
When i was organising Debbie's gifts i loved the one she made as a gift for Debbie so Eva made one especially for me.
Thank you so much Eva, i will treasure it!

Eva is multi talented and works with a variety of materials. She also paints using watercolours. I would love to be good with watercolours and totally admire the way Eva bring them to life. The colours that merge are beautiful.
