This will be my only blog post for quite a while. Need to knuckle down and get on with finishing loads of work. I'll pop back in May just before the show and let you all know i'm still alive and kicking, lol.
Here's what i'm working on this evening - Just brooms that i'm keeping quite simple and some more hat and book stands. I'm now all out of wire so will move onto somethig else tomorrow.
The kids are back at school Monday so will have loads of time again and hoping my list gets smaller each day.
Not the most thrilling picture but this is my desk at the moment.... it's all i could think to post. Blogs need pics, lol.
Oooh these sound like fun! I was having problems with blogger a week or so back...it just wouldn't load any photo's and I ended up doing a post at almost midnight! lol

The brooms look cool Nikki. May I ask what material the broom heads are made of? I used to use bristles from my old shaving brush but that got expensive.

ReplyDeleteIts the material that people with mini tudor houses use for their thatch.
It comes in quite big bunch so would last foevere.
I am not sure if you are in the UK, but you can also get this in smaller packs in Hobbycraft; maybe hobbylobby if you are in the states/canada.
It can be found in the bobby train section among the materials they use to create railway scenes.
So sorry i am unsure of the product name.

Good luck getting ready on time nikki..........if it makes you feel any more orgsanised ,I havent even started on my list yet ...yikes ! its going to be 4 weeks living in the shed for me !I'm exhibiting at Pudsey tomorrow and its far too close for comfort LOL

I think you should be flattered by the attempts to imitate, and quite frankly, the quality of 'their' work is not comparable to yours yet!
