Better Photos Of Potting Tables for Etsy.

Here is table one measuring 6.5cm in height, 11cm in width and 5cm in depth.
The table base is my own design and handmade by myself.
My lovely friend Debbie from Tiny Treasures helped me out with some of the flowers, thank you Debbie. Being me i had to age them a little too.
There is also a little frog hiding on the bottom shelf near the pumpkins which i have hand wired and painted the leaves for. Everything is secured in place.
There are mandrakes and poisonous mushrooms, alongside the pumpkins which give a witch theme to this potting table, but i have tried to keep it understated and not obviously in your face shouting WITCH.
These tables always make me smile!

Here is table two measuring 6.4cm in height, 10.1cm in width, and 5cm in depth. This is a bought table which i have removed the bottom shelving from, sanded down, then stained and aged to my own choice. Similar to the previous table and bursting with colour and texture.

  2. You are quite right, your tables could easily be mistaken for just an ordinary potting table! It is only upon close inspection that you notice a few strange and unnatural objects. Lovely! I covet those aged garden tools as well!

  4. Hi Tabitha (Susan). Glad you like them. I have worked on and off with them for weeks. I find tables just don't happen in a flash and can keep puting them away, getting them out for what seems like forever.
Thank you for your email last night, ned to get back to you. Can you send me the link on my email for the site/shop you mentioned. I searched and searched with no luck.

  6. Hi Kim. Lol, everyone needs a witchy cottage. You should just go ahead and make one but try and do it all from scrap material to save on expense. They are fun to do and you can let your imagination run wild. If you do, i promise you will be hooked.

  7. Magnificent work Nikki. I truly don't think that any photo's do your work justice. The little tables are full of fab things to look at. From the tables I have bought from you in the past....I can ALWAYS find something new or different to look at when I go back and have another look at them. :o)) I love the additional mushrooms on your new tables...I have a thing about mushrooms! lol

  8. Hi Michelle. Going to be making lots of mushrooms on their own shortly, plus all kinds. Will leave them so people can plant them up or use for other displays. Plus will be doing some again with the faces, but quite limited because they take a lot longer.
Thank you for your nice compliments. Its rewarding after hours of work have gone into each table. Makes it worthwhile.
I too have a thing about mushrooms and wherever i use them i cant help but smile and love them all over again, lol. Mad i know, lol.

  9. Hi Nikki,
They are both lovely, but my favourite is in the top photo, because it has your wonderful pumpkins:0) Love the flowers you had from Debbie too, they are perfect for your tables. Last night I bought myself a new project, so will be needing mandrakes, hint hint ;0)

Debbie asked me the other day if I had started on my Harry Potterish scene for Noah...I haven't because I'm not sure where to start. Now you've given me some inspiration...just have to find some time to visit my dark side.
