Yes, i know i should be finishing the mandrake tables and all the rest, lol, but could not resist making this.
While searching for halloween sweets/candy ideas i found this immage of a moon cart (cant remember where).
Anyway, just had to make my own version of it and make into a pram/pushchair.
Here is the base next to to image im working from.
I'm going to make (well at least try) to make it look like leather, have wooden wheels and a star and moon mobile for the baby.
For the life of me i can not sew and just end up with knots, so going to have to get my thinking cap on as to the bedding.
It's also going to have a moon face on the outside facing the bar for pushing the pram and perhaps a sun face on the inside or be decorated somehow with celestial images. Not doing any planning or sketches and just going with whatever happens.
My lovely friend Debie over at piskies and poppets made a pumpkin pram last week which is fabulous, and have been racking my brain trying to come up with a unique idea for a pram too.
Will post again tomorrow with the progress.
Here's my friends brilliant pumpkin pram.
Nice! Can't wait to see your version of it!

Wow Nikki this is going to look great when its finished :O). For the sewing just keep it simple. I use a lot of blanket stitch and felt, it doesnt fray.
