Gifts From Jain, Chimineas And Eva's Witchy Bookcase!

Last week a surprise gift arrived From Jain at Giddy kipper Dolls.
A few days before it arrived i had sent a small parcel with various types of faux moss, moss scatter, little tools and mini stones to use for her mandrake table. I never expected anything back, let alone such a beautiful gift.
Make sure you pop over there and see Jains beautiful work and if you are into mandrakes then this weekend i think Jain is listing both of these on ebay. Please check her blog for when this is happening and the link.

Here is the cutest Little baby sleeping in a snail shell. Isn't she lovely?
Hope my photo has done her justice because she really is fantastic.
Decided this baby needs to be a girl and so have call her Bibi. Love her and thank you Jain.

Little bit more work on the chimineas this morning. I will sand them and turn them into cast iron later. I tried all kinds of legs for these but nothing looked right so decided to extend them into one whole thing and keep quite simple.
My fave so far is the one with the biggest opening.
I've made them so the floo goes backwards, as if it is going into a wall.

Tomorrow i will show you the gift Eva from http://mini-escenas.blogspot.com/ sent to me, alongside the delicious cake all the way from Spain.
If you have not visited Eva before then make sure you do. She has just finished making her fabulous witch bookcase. Its beautiful and full of so much fun, plus i know she has really enjoyed making this. The bookcase is a wonderful way to display so many items and you have to check out the door, elf and tree... brilliant!
Heres one of the pics over there.

  17. Hi Jain. Yes, they will all be at Kensington, and another two i have planned that are plate warmers at the top, then a stove top and then the flame part. These have given me so many ideas for other furniture bit to make life easier making them will make the perfect mould to speed up production. Spent hours getting them right.
Thank you once again for the beautiful baby. I knew she would be very popular because she is so adorable. You should make lots more.
